Term 1 Fundraising

On the last week of Term for our treat day we made Easter Cupcakes.  We sold these for $1 each and had over 250 ordered, so we were very busy!
The reviews were excellent so it could be one that we do again.

Room 9's Assembly
We had our Assembly on Friday 30th March at 2.15pm and it was AMAZING!!! The children did their whanau and myself proud.  Lots of parents came to see all the hard work they had put in and smiled throughout.  All our practise was well worth it.  The fluency in reading has come a long way and all our presenters did a great job.  Here are some youtube clips that we made using imovie and the app Vidrhythm.  Enjoy!!!

Assembly

WOW! What a busy day, practising assembly, learning non-stop and then having to be really good as we know treat day is coming up.
We are all excited about our assembly and will share some of the things we did on our blog.

We have been studying Te Wao Nui a Tane. Room 9 have adopted a tree in our playground and we will watch what happend to it over the year. Evelyn said we were like tree huggers, so once the class knew what that meant they thought it would be fun to actually HUG THEIR TREE!
