Balloon Pop

We have been popping 1 balloon a day until school finishes ( if we work hard). In each balloon are different activities.
So far we have had a dance off, free time, computer time, colouring competition and a game outside. I wonder what's to come.

Think/ See/ Wonder - Flaming Shoes

Think/ See/ Wonder
Whaea Josie gives us a picture and we have to discuss in groups, what we think it is, what we see and what wonderings we have about the picture.
We love doing this and Whaea says we do some great writing!

I think Whaea Josie is wearing cardboard  high heels with flames.  I see red nail polish on her toes and wrinkles.  I see high heels with a white outline, I wonder if it actually is Whaea Josie in those shoes.  I wonder if she's going to the Halloween disco in a flame costume.  "Now I'm at the disco time to show off my costume." she says
I wonder if she's in front of Disco Stu.  I think those shoes are Lady Gaga's shoes but Whaea Josie is just borrowing them for the day.

I think the lady is in a fashion show because she might be in a movie like Wonder woman.  I wonder if she is a super hero because the shoes have fire on them, some have white flames on the bottom.  I think the lady have speed powers or she might be just a hero.

I wonder if the girl is wearing flame high heels for a disco, she looks really cool with the high heels they are really flamey.  She is wearing  red and white nail polish like the flames.  I wonder who she is, maybe a model or something because she looks really cool.  She could be wearing a matching dress like her shoes.  Do they have sparkles? She is fabulous, I wish I was her.

I think they are taking a big breath before they swim.  I think they are going to be in a fight, "Hey Bro come at me."  "Nah, nah."  "Ow, ow, what was that for?"  I wonder if they are cooling down from a hot sunny day.  "It's really hot," said the girl monkey.  "I'm feeling lazy today,"said the middle monkey.  Then they swam.

I think it is a mammal because it has hair and it is warm blooded.  I see three chimpanzees, they are orange and their faces are red.  I wonder if they are going to find a new home over the black and orange rock.  They started to get angry at each other, so they started to fight.  They scratched, punched and they kicked and then the fight was over.  She ran away to find her own house.  She found one it was colourful with lots of bright colours.  It had red, green and yellow.  When she found it, she then went to the monkey shop to get the groceries.

Our Fun Party Treat Day

We had heap s of fun on Thursday for Treat Day. We played Pass the Parcel, The Chocolate Game,Pin the tail on the Giraffe and Musical chairs. It's definitely one we will do again.

These trees were involved in a flood in India.  The spiders fled to the trees and did not leave.  They ended up creating huge webs, you would think it was large spiders.  But reports are if you stand underneath lots and lots of small spiders fall out.

 My name is Shark Fin, I have a shark fin so I can swim after fish and eels.  I am the strongest bird in the forest and I am the scariest too.  I have six legs, four arms and five eyes.  Three eyes are green and two are red.  I can smell over 2000 miles away.  I eat anything.  I am the most dangerous bird ever invented.
