Our Assembly 2013

We had an amazing assembly today.  Room 9 worked really hard and were so excited.  We think everyone enjoyed it by all the laughing.
Have a look and tell us what you think!

This is us using the Puppetpals app  introducing ourselves in Te Reo
This is what we say translated for you.
What is your name?  Ko wai to ingoa?
How are you feeling? Kei te pehea koe?
Ngenge - tired    pai - good    makariri - cold

                                         Ataahua and Kyrah

Jahroam and Malakai

     Patience and Natahlia

The video we watched depicts the damage that humans do to wildlife.  This island is 2000 miles from the nearest continent yet is covered in plastic waste.
If you are interested in watching it yourself search for "Midway Island Documentary' On Youtube. I havent attached the link as some scenes may disturb younger children so please watch first.

This is our response to an environmental video we watched on Midway Island

We have watched a few of the Harlem Shake Videos that have gone viral on YouTube since they began on February 2nd 2013.
We thought it would be fun to have a go ourselves.
Here's the Harlem Shake Room 9 Stylez.

This is a slideshow of what we want to be when we grow up.
Sorry for no music but we used it in the background during our assembly while we stood and spoke.
