Easter Treats

 

At the end of the term we made 3D easter eggs with crayons and to celebrate a fab term we all got a bunny rabbit easter egg.

Term 1 Super Stars!

Photo 1: These clever cookies have learnt all their lowercase and capital letter names as well as all the sounds. (Hamiora has only been at school for 11 weeks, isn't he amazing!)

George and Hunter - raincoat challenge

Awa Technology Challenge

Children were split into 4 rooms and had to complete a task on behalf of their awa (house groups).
They were a shelter to hold one child during an emergency, a backpack strong enough to hold a book, a stretcher strong enough to carry 50kgs and a raincoat that was shower proof.
BUT.... the catch was all of these things had to be made with newspapers, celloptape, some had string and some had plastic bags.  So a lot of team work and problem solving was needed for this.
It was a great morning.
